‘Now the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people.’ — Rev 21:3

Everything prior to Christ pointed to the new covenant, with the tabernacle and the temple representing Christ’s body and preparing the world for his body - the church. On the cross Jesus fulfilled the old covenant, bringing life and direction to it, opening the door to the new covenant. Through this door was the full glory of God, the continual forgiveness of sin, and relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It was nothing that we did or can do - only Jesus could open that door and make us part of his kingdom. Speakers and content at our 2024 NLG will be centred around this new contract we have through the work of Christ on the cross.
